Growli Terms
Effective from 20 October 2026. The Polish version is binding; this is a translation.
1. Who provides the service
Growli is run by Maciej Siadkowski, a sole trader trading as Maciej Siadkowski, tax ID (NIP) 6772482350 (“we”). Contact: maciek.siadkowski@gmail.com.
2. What Growli is
Growli is a mobile app for Android and iOS for parents and carers of young children. It lets you:
- keep a diary of your child: profile, measurements, milestones, notes;
- read general information about development for your child’s age, with sources;
- use play ideas for the age.
Growli is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, it does not assess your child’s development or health, and it does not replace a doctor’s advice. The information is general and the same for every child of a given age. In an emergency, call 112.
3. Who can use it
Growli is for adults (18+). By accepting the Terms you confirm that you are 18 or older. A child is not a user of the app. A child’s data is entered by the parent or legal guardian.
4. Technical requirements
- a phone or tablet with Android 10 or later, or iOS 18 or later;
- internet access;
- a Google account to sign in.
5. Starting and ending the agreement
- The agreement for services provided electronically starts when you first sign in to the app and accept the Terms. It runs for an indefinite period.
- Growli is free to use. Before we introduce paid features, we will describe their scope, price and rules in the Terms, and you decide whether to use them.
- You can end the agreement at any time by deleting your account in the app (More → Delete account) or by asking us by email.
- We can end the agreement for a good reason, for example a serious breach of the Terms, with 14 days’ notice, or at once for unlawful conduct. If we stop running Growli, we will tell you at least 30 days in advance and let you download your data.
6. Rules of use
- Do not enter unlawful content.
- Share a child’s profile only with people you trust.
- Do not try to get around security measures or disrupt the app.
- You are responsible for the data you enter and for its accuracy.
7. Content and sources
- We write the development information in our own words, based on the sources given with it (for example WHO, CDC). The list of sources is in the app under “About content and sources”.
- The growth charts are based on the WHO Child Growth Standards, which we use under a licence from WHO. WHO does not endorse Growli.
- The content in the app is protected by copyright. You may use it for your own private purposes.
8. Liability
- We take care that the app works and that the content is reliable and up to date. Interruptions can happen, for example during updates.
- Make decisions about your child’s health with a doctor. The general information in the app does not replace a doctor’s advice.
- We do not exclude or limit any liability towards consumers that the law does not allow to be excluded or limited.
9. Complaints
- Send complaints to maciek.siadkowski@gmail.com. Describe the problem and give your account’s email address.
- We reply within 14 days.
- If you are a consumer, you can use out-of-court dispute resolution, for example the help of a municipal or district consumer ombudsman (rzecznik konsumentów) or the regional Trade Inspection (Inspekcja Handlowa) in Poland, or the consumer bodies of your country.
10. Personal data
The Privacy Policy explains how we process your data and your child’s data.
11. Changes to the Terms
We may change the Terms for a good reason, for example a change in the law or in the app’s features. We will tell you in the app at least 14 days before a change takes effect. If you do not accept the change, you can end the agreement within that time.
12. Final provisions
- The Terms are governed by Polish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection given to you by the law of the country where you usually live.
- Contact point for users and authorities: maciek.siadkowski@gmail.com, in Polish or English.
- Earlier versions of the Terms are in the change history.
